This is a totally absurd statement, as a matter of fact your whole, I hate frames club is just silly. As a designer I know that there are things one can do with frames that could never be achieved in a non-framed site. I'm sure there are probably more important issues that you could focus your energy on instead of spreading hate through the web.

There are things one can do with frames that could never be achieved in a non-framed site?... What, like repeatedly crash my browser? Steal content from other pages? Split the browser into 20 little chunks? Oh sure, they probably couldn't have created THIS "nightmare" without them. Frankly, I don't think it would have been any great loss to the web in general, but hey, that's me.

I just checked your site, and I see you're using a Powermac 8500/120. Probably less likely to crash. Maybe you have a 20 inch monitor. I'm using Windows95 and a 17 inch monitor. Frames crash browsers in Windows. It's just a fact, it's not made up, it's not an exaggeration, it's not like that on every single PC running "Bill's Fab OS", it depends on how much other software you're running. They suck on my box, and on a lot of other user's PCs too. Do designer guys care? Naww.....

Also, (and I mention this at the club) frames make sites more confusing, smaller, ugly, less visible, cut off parts of the page, screw up the bookmarking (here comes the ol' "right click to bookmark" story) and just make pages less usable in general.

And in reference to your suggestion that I focus my energy on more important issues: What do you suggest, should I make a "Somebody or Another Ate my Balls Page?" or maybe a "Big Button that Doesn't do Anything"... What ever was I thinking?

We don't spread hate. Simply because it's called the I hate Frames Club does not imply that we are hateful people. We only hate frames, they suck, they are horrible. It's pinpointed hate directed at only one design element. Guess I coulda' called it the "I'm None too Fond of Frames Club" but it just didn't seem to have the same ring to it.

You know, the funny thing is that when I started the club a year and a half ago I figured I'd get few members, and flamed a hundred times a day. Instead I get about one flame for every 300 or so members.... go figure.
