Another disadvantage is you can save the source HTML of the site to your computer. A bug also causes sme of the spaces in the code to drop out making it disfunctional. A real mess and a missed opportunity for those of us wanting to learn how to create sites.

Frames only suck, if they´re used excessively.
Using them carefully, they can be used to navigate
through a website comfortably. Wanna see a frame mess ??

Frames just plain suck. People don't know how to properly use frames,
and that just makes their page a mess.
Sometimes even if people know how to use frames they still suck
because of the restrictions it puts on you and your browser.
Sometimes I think frames are as evil as Bill Gates.

Like you can guess, I like frames muchas I like Micro$oft... Got win95 with 'kewl'frame-supporting IE, liked it so much, thatdestroyed it in 3 days... I don't like muchthose stupid 'These pages need frames, pleaseget the newest IE or netscape right now' messages..Like i really would fill my computer with that shit..

They're great for:

I am enduring a limited memory computer and
it goes slow enough on its own. Frames make
it TEN TIMES WORSE!! They sometimes make
new browsers pop up, slowing it down even more.

...AND... I have even received mail from idiost
telling me I am a complete and total loser because
my browser couldn't handle their frames (I was using
Internet Expolorer at first). That did it.
If my unacceptance to their frames makes me
wothless then why am I even alive?? I can
see the job resume now: Enjoys frames and
accepts them openly.

I think frames are the stupidest things to be invented since some GENIUS came up with the idea of selling hot dogs and hot dog buns in disproportionate numbers. Which, I suppose was a good money-making scheme, but bad in application. But I digress.....
